Medical Clinics

When visiting Suomen Terveystalo, a member of the fund pays the deductible portion of the compensation at the medical clinic. Medical examinations prescribed by a doctor are compensated according to the fund's rules. An exception is magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), see the section on claiming compensation.

Dental visits must be paid for by the member and compensation must be applied for from the fund.

L&T Sickness Fund does not cover services included in occupational health care.

The sickness fund has a direct compensation agreement with Mehiläinen for magnetic resonance imaging.

To receive direct compensation, a referral from an occupational health care physician and endorsement from the sickness fund are required, see the section on claiming compensation. When the requirements are met, you will receive the imaging free of charge at Mehiläinen.
